About the role

Keep the four-pass minimum honest: build and check the cloud masks, cover scores and gap flags across 412,000 hectares.

Every tonne we issue depends on at least four clean satellite passes a season. You will own the pipeline that decides what counts as clean, flags the gaps and hands the field team a list of what to check on the ground.

What you will do

  • Maintain cloud masks and cover-score models across Sentinel and commercial imagery
  • Flag fields with fewer than four clean passes and route them to the field team
  • Publish the per-field pass log with each quarterly export
  • Pair with the soil science team on the uncertainty model

What you bring

  • Three years with optical remote sensing in agriculture or forestry
  • Python, rasterio or GDAL, and a cloud data warehouse
  • A habit of writing down why a number changed

What we offer

  • A twelve month contract with a path to a permanent role
  • Equipment budget and a co-working allowance
  • Two field trips a year to see what the pixels are measuring
