About us

Soil carbon you can audit, paid to the people who earn it

Canopis measures soil carbon on working farms, verifies it with the registries, and pays growers within 30 days of issuance.

Our mission

A measurement company that happens to pay growers

Most soil carbon programmes start with a model and end with a dispute. We start with a core sample and end with a bank transfer. In between sits a method that growers, buyers and registries can all read.

We work with co-ops and growers on row crops, pasture, agroforestry and vineyards. Every project gets a named agronomist, a locked baseline and a public audit pack. When a field does not move, we publish that too.

What we stand for

Three promises we put in every contract

They are written into the grower agreement, not the brochure. You can hold us to them.

Soil core icon

Measured, not modelled

Every credit traces back to a core sample, a lab result and a satellite pass you can open.

Payout icon

Paid in 30 days

Growers receive their share within 30 days of issuance. No holdbacks, no buffer games.

Registry seal icon

Open audit packs

Buyers and registries get the same files we use. Methodology changes are announced, never quiet.
